It was really surreal, wasn't it? I couldn't peel my eyes away from the coverage and can't stop thinking about those people. So incredible they all got off alive.

About me.....hmmmm feels like I am trying to write a singles ad or something. OK here goes - I am the mom of three kids, ages 16, 14 & 6. They keep me very busy and I don't have much time for more than keeping up with them and occasionally getting some housework and yard work done. The two older ones play travel hockey so a good chunk of my year is spent with our "second family" which allows me to be with the kids while also enjoying myself with friends. The six year old does gymnastics year-round, soccer in the fall, and archery during the winter and summer. She also has a long list of things she wants to do (cheerleading, dance, lacrosse, and fishing) but tells me hockey isn't one of them because she's been doing it since she was a baby and she's tired of it. The girl cracks me up!
